1 Day White Water Rafting on the Nile River in Jinja, Uganda experience is a 3-4 hours activity on the Source of the Nile River experiencing the rapids of the Nile. This one-day trip to Jinja starts and ends in Kampala with early departures and late returns. Depending on what your interests are, you can choose a Grade 5 raft or family float. For extreme adventurers, the Grade 5 extreme raft is the best way to have your adrenaline pumping. The minimum age for family floats is 6 years.

  1. Day1 kampala Attractions

    Your morning will start with a pick-up by an allocated Uganda tour guide for a drive to Jinja. From your residence in Kampala, you will start your drive at 6:00 am local time. The drive continues past the city and then to Mabira forest on the Kampala-Jinja highway.

    The drive is scenic taking you past several tea plantations and farmlands. The drive lasts about 2.5 hours arriving at Jinja source of the Nile for the start of your Uganda safaris tour adventure. Most probably, by 9:00 am, you will have a practical briefing by the expert rafting team.

    1 Day Jinja White Water Rafting Tour at the source of the Nile River. You get into the wild rapids of the Nile River for the rafting adventure alongside experienced guides and kayakers. About 3-4 hours are spent on the water with amazing experiences and lifetimes moments.

    Any intending client going rafting should have the confidence to stay in the water and hold their breath at certain points. Rafting ends in the afternoon, then after you have a late lunch on the shores of the Nile River. Following lunch and relaxation, you drive to Jinja town for a city tour. This is Uganda’s former industrial capital with lots of unique architectural designs. You visit the town then after starting the drive to Kampala go past the newly constructed Jinja Source of the Nile bridge.

    By evening, your driver will ensure you arrive safely at your place of residence. The drive back to Kampala could take much more time depending on the traffic within the city.
